SSD: Combat


I fixed some bugs that I had left sitting around and bandaid-ed the UI so that I could get some rudimentary combat working. The explosion effect doesn't look terrible and the code isn't horrible. Now the AI characters can actually kill one another!


I noted that FL's ship models were actually broken into pieces so that they could be detached when the ship explodes or one section takes too much damage. This is something I'll log for later ideas but right now its not a big concern.

If all goes well I should have something kinda playable on Sunday? Maybe when you spawn a few ships come to fire at you. It'll be pretty boring but the build after that will probably have some better movement options.
